Co-operative learning

In class, we are focusing on co-operative learning. This means working together in small groups, allowing everyone to have their turn to speak and ensuring that we listen to each other carefully and respectfully.

One of the activities that we did using co-operative learning was a maths problem solving activity. We had to read out the clues to each other and use the clues to help us to decide the order of a number of different pictures. We had to use our maths knowledge to think about ordering and size.

Although it was tricky to start with, once we made sure that we listened to the clues carefully and discussed our ideas with each other, we were able to work as teams to solve the problem.
